Valladolid’s FINE Wine Tourism Fair Celebrates Quintessential Fifth Anniversary
VALLADOLID – The Feria de Valladolidin Spain is gearing up for a significant milestone with the fifth anniversary of FINE, the International Wine Tourism Fair, scheduled for March 13-14, 2024. This event marks a pivotal moment for the wine tourism industry, highlighting the sector’s robust growth and the expansive array of experiences it offers beyond just wine tasting.
Since its inception, FINE has played a crucial role in showcasing the rich tapestry of wine tourism opportunities across southern Europe. The 2024 edition promises to continue this tradition by featuring an impressive lineup of leading wineries from renowned wine regions including Catalonia, Andalusia, Galicia, the Basque Country, La Rioja, the Canary Islands, Castilla-La Mancha, and Valencia. These additions join the ranks of established participants from Ribera del Duero, Rioja Alavesa, Extremadura, Aragón, Murcia, Ourense, and Castilla y León, further enriching the fair’s diverse offerings.

Support from pivotal entities such as Valladolid City Council, the Provincial Council, Turespaña, and professional organizations like the Spanish Wine Federation and the Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies has been instrumental in FINE’s success. Additionally, pioneering wineries such as Protos, Dehesa de los Canónigos, Abadía Retuerta, the Ferrer Miranda Group, and Bodegas Alvear have played a vital role in establishing FINE as a benchmark for wine tourism professionals.
