Luxury and Heritage Combine in Maserati’s Bespoke Tribute to Marchesi Antinori’s Iconic Wine
MODENA – To honor the 50th anniversary of Tignanello, Maserati has unveiled a bespoke GranCabrio Folgore, created through their Fuoriserie customization program in collaboration with Marchesi Antinori. This unique electric vehicle will be auctioned at Festival Napa Valley’s Arts for All Gala on July 14, with proceeds going to charity.
Marchesi Antinori, renowned for its 600-year wine history, shares a commitment to tradition and innovation with Maserati. The custom GranCabrio Folgore features a unique Terra di Tignanello paint, inspired by vineyard soil and barrel colors, and luxurious interiors using Vegea, a sustainable leather alternative derived from vineyards. This collaboration highlights Italian excellence in both winemaking and automotive design.
The GranCabrio Folgore is the first 100% electric convertible in the luxury segment, blending performance with the elegance and comfort typical of Maserati. It includes innovative features like a neck warmer and wind stopper for enhanced driving comfort.
Tignanello, a pioneering wine from Chianti Classico, was the first Sangiovese aged in barriques and blended with non-traditional varieties like Cabernet. It represents the Antinori family’s spirit of continuous improvement and innovation.
This collaboration between Maserati and Marchesi Antinori epitomizes the synergy of two iconic brands dedicated to craftsmanship and excellence.
