A unique collaboration blends fine wine and couture in a bold runway look for the MANIFESTO Collection
NEW YORK – Silver Oak Winery collaborated with Jackson Wiederhoeft, a CFDA finalist, for his Spring/Summer 2025 MANIFESTO collection showcased at New York Fashion Week. This unique partnership led to the creation of a custom runway look, dyed with Silver Oak’s 2020 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The standout piece was a hand-embroidered salon corset, crafted from double-faced silk satin and adorned with a lace-up back and intricate poppy embroidery using beads, raffia, and pebbles. The garment underwent a two-day dyeing process using the Cabernet, which gave it a rich, wine-stained hue that perfectly matched the boldness of Wiederhoeft’s vision.
The event, held at West Chelsea’s 548 W 22nd Street gallery, emphasized the synergy between the world of high fashion and fine winemaking. The exclusive invitations for the show were even etched onto bottles of the 2020 vintage, further blending the artistic and sensory experiences of the guests. The celebration continued at the afterparty, hosted at KYU, where attendees enjoyed the freshly released vintage.
This collaboration is part of Silver Oak’s broader mission to support creativity across different disciplines, using its wines not only for taste but as artistic tools in the pursuit of mastery, much like Wiederhoeft’s boundary-pushing fashion.
