ASTI – The Premiere of Alta Langa 2023 will take place on Monday, May 8th, from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm, inside the 18th-century Galleria Grande of the Venaria Reale near Turin..
The large tasting of Alta Langa wines currently on the market is organized by the Alta Langa Consortium and is reserved for a professional audience: buyers, wine shop owners, restaurant owners, professional sommeliers, distributors, bartenders, journalists.
This is the fifth edition of the event: the first two editions were held at the Castello di Grinzane in the spring of 2018 and 2019. In the fall of 2019, an edition was held in Milan at Palazzo Serbelloni, and last June in Turin, inside the private museum of Italdesign where the iconic “Terra” glass was presented.
This is the comment of Mariacristina Castelletta, President of the Alta Langa Consortium:
“Year after year, edition after edition, the Alta Langa Consortium event grows and enriches itself, as does our group: if in the first edition of 2018 the producers present at the event were 18, with about 40 labels available for tasting, last year in Turin we were 46 with 115 different wines. The Premiere of Alta Langa confirms the opportunity to taste a wide selection of Piedmontese sparkling wines, meet the producers and fully immerse yourself in the spirit of a denomination in clear development, in Italy and beyond.”
